The Pearl District is not lacking in quality craftsman brew pubs and this year we are happy to announce a few newcomers to the list! Here are just a few of the breweries that will be on tap at this year’s Pints In The Pearl!
On Tap – Fat Head’s Portland
A first-rate Pearl brewery and eatery with a whimsical logo, Fat Head’s Portland has earned major props for it’s exceptional brews. Drop by their festive, vaulted ceiling dining room and enjoy the friendly service and comfort fare while sampling one of several award winning brews they have on tap!
On Tap – Bridgeport Brewing
Over 30 years ago this PDX staple set out to change the world, and got thirsty. Their original IPA set the new standard for craft beer in Portland and they are back again for this year’s festival. Can’t wait for the festival to try their original IPA? Head down to the brewpub located in a beautiful historic brick building off of NW Marshall.
On Tap - 10 Barrel Brewing
A Bend import with a killer rooftop deck 10 Barrel Brewing draws plenty of beer connoisseurs who appreciate adventurous ales including their smooth Costa Rican lager and rich complex Belgian ale. Come for the views of the city from the rooftop patio – stay for the exceptional beer and delicious food!
On Tap – Deschutes Brewery
With spacious indoor and outdoors seating, big screens airing all your favorite pro sports, and in close proximity to Powell’s Books and Gerding Theater at the Armory Deschutes Brewery is a Pearl District institution. The kitchen sources locally and they are especially known for their Pinedrops IPA-black pepper sausage which might also be making at appearance at the festival. Pouring a mix of classic brews and limited release experiments to our festival goers Deschutes Brewery celebrates the art & passion behind brewery making with each and every pour!
ALWAYS bringing the party to 13th Street our friends from River Pig are signing on this year with both food and their very own River Pig Lager! Sample it at the festival and while your there stop inside for one of their famous pickelback shots – it’s a thing!
On Tap – BackPedal Brewing
Drink, Pedal, Repeat – that’s what you often hear if you have taken part in or seen one of the famous BrewCycle tours in the Pearl District. Now brewing their own craftsman beers BackPedal is making an appearance at this year’s festival with a special co-lab brew in partnership with Fathead’s! This collaboration is guaranteed to go quick!
