Redwood Son - 1:00 - 1:45pm
Originally hailing from Northern California, before relocating to Portland Oregon, Redwood Son has been an Indie Artist on the Rise. Garcia Birthday Band - 2:05 - 3:20pm
Garcia Birthday Band (GBB), based in Portland Oregon is a group of veteran musicians interpreting and celebrating the vast repertoire of the late Jerry Garcia and The Grateful Dead. But this isn't a "tribute band!" Drawing on year's of individual and shared experience, these players are able to craft and transform these tunes into something fresh and original. Solid chops, tight arrangements and fine harmonies all contribute to the band's musical travels and explorations of possibly the most diverse songbooks of all time.
The Quick & Easy Boys - 3:40 - 5:10pm
The Quick & Easy Boys are a power trio out of Portland, Oregon who creates their own blend of rock and roll. Imagine the Minutment, the Police, and Band of Gypsies rolled into one. Formed in 2005, The Quick & Easy Boys quickly made a name for themselves in Eugene, Oregon before relocating to Portland and becoming a renown nationally touring act. Their shows are an interactive party with electrifying stage antics and profound musical moments as the trio pours out every ounce of their energy, leaving nothing behind. The band has gained a reputation for moving a crown all-night long whether it be a big festival or tiny watering hole.
The Local Strangers - 5:30 - 6:45pm
Compelling lyrics and rich harmonies have delighted fans of The Local Strangrs at sold out venues in the Pacific Northwest and intimate living rooms around the country since 2010. Their second full length album highlights the bands musical breadth, with eleven songs recorded in two distinct ways. Disc one features the bands thunderous drums, complex arrangements and wailing guitar hooks, while the second disc brings it back to their roots - Aubrey, Matt, and an acoustic guitar recorded in front of a live audience.
Tony Ozier - 7:05 - 8:45pm
Multi-instrumentalist and producer Tony Ozier is Texas-raised and Northwest-planted. Living in Portland for the past decade, he has grown his reputation for putting on one of the stankiest shows in town. Doo Doo funk is his self titled musical style, and 2017 promises even more of it with a new instrumental offering, BeatsGalore Volume 3, ready for release, and a new EP coming in the fall.
Master of Ceremonies - Aaron Ross
Aaron Ross is an actor/comedian/talk show host from Portland, Oregon. Aside from hosting 600 episodes of WTR in the past 7 years, Ross is the host of the "You Who?" rock n roll children's show, a man on the street reporter for the Pickathon Music Festival, has performed at SXSW from 2013-2015, and has been featured in dozens of local + national commercials.
